Most custom t-shirt orders in San Diego ship from a shop days after you approve the proof. Ours get made at the event. We set up a station at your venue, guests pick a size, and each guest gets a shirt with your design about two minutes after ordering.
How live custom shirts work here
You send the art ahead of time. We proof it, pick blanks across an XS–4XL run, and drive the whole station down from Fullerton the morning of the event. At a Convention Center booth, a biotech meeting in UTC or a resort party in Carlsbad, guests pick a size, watch their shirt get printed, and put it on.
What we can print on
- Tees: soft shirts in a full size run, printed one at a time as guests pick.
- Hoodies and crewnecks: worth having for a breezy evening on the bayfront.
- Caps: guests build their own at the live hat bar.
- Totes and hard goods: promo items for guests who already have a shirt.
Screens or DTF for your shirts?
For one bold design on a lot of shirts, live screen printing is the efficient choice. For full-color art, photo detail or a name on each shirt, live DTF printing has no color limit and no screens to burn. Send the art and we'll tell you which.
Why live instead of a catalog order: nothing to ship, no boxes of leftover sizes, and guests keep a shirt they watched get made.

Planning notes
What we need to print shirts at your venue
Each station takes about 10×10 ft and two dedicated 120V/20A circuits. At the San Diego Convention Center, power is ordered through the venue; in a hotel ballroom downtown or a taproom in North Park, it's usually a matter of confirming the outlets.
Final art is due about a week before the date, and the garment order locks at the same time.
